The expert panellists, Hazel Pearson, Dirctor at Michael Laird Architects, Peter Kerr, Director at Atelier Ten, and Michael Gallacher, Construction Director at Abstract Securities discussed discussed the idea that an individual's needs from a workplace will vary depending on several factors; role, sector, managerial responsibility, and personality. Similarly, there will be varying requirements for social interaction. We must remember that, especially for younger professionals, the workplace is more than just an office; it’s a social environment as well, an ongoing networking opportunity, and a learning and development hub.
